Why we use Gel Packs and/or Dry Ice
Live and fresh items ship best with gel packs.
Frozen products may ship with dry ice.
If your order includes both fresh and frozen products it will ship with gel packs only.

Saturday delivery available to many locations at no extra charge.

Arrival by: 8:00 PM - most locations
No Saturday delivery.

LATE DELIVERY - PACKAGE LOSS - EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS
willapa-oysters.com is not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, or inaccurate shipping information. We do not require a signature for the release of any shipment. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person and is therefore entirely outside our control.

PROOF OF DELIVERY
Proof of delivery is the FedEx delivery confirmation of your package according to its tracking number.
We are not responsible for loss of packages which are stolen or otherwise removed from the correct delivery location by persons or other means other than the intended recipient.
We depend on the weather and the tides to harvest your Oysters, Clams, Crabs and Fish. If, due to weather and/or tide conditions, a specific type or size of Oyster, Clam or Fish is not available at time of shipping we may upgrade products and/or quantities to compensate.
SHIPPING TO ALASKA AND HAWAII
For shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, FedEx Priority Overnight is your best option.
For live shellfish (not shucked oysters, chowders or casseroles), the Hawaii Department of Agriculture requires
that you obtain a "permit letter of authorization" prior to import to Hawaii. This permit may take several days to process.
One time only authorization costs $20.00 and an annual unlimited authorization costs $100.
